For more pictures go to www.gazettelive.co.uk TWO sisters who were friends of Marske singer Georgina Anderson organised a football match to raise cash for a teenage cancer charity in her memory.

Lauren and Mia Flood, aged 16 and 14, from Redcar, knew Georgina, who sadly died from cancer in November aged just 15, through their shared love of performing arts.

The girls planned to organise a charity football match back in September in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust and it was held at the weekend at Middles-brough College.

The girls' mum Dawn said: "This is something that they decided to do in September and were hoping to hold it in November and Georgina knew all about it.

"It wasn't planned to be in memory of her, it was just something they wanted to do for their friend."

Georgina, who touched many people with her beautiful singing voice when a video of her singing went viral, was diagnosed with an extremely rare and aggressive form of cancer just four months before she died. …
