FOLLOWING a hugely successful exhibition at the Dorman Museum in Middlesbrough, the work of Teesside artist David Mulholland is heading to another venue within his former stomping ground.

A selection of David's work, most of which is being shown for the first time, will be exhibited from tomorrow until June 22 at Kirkleatham Museum, where an exhibition of work by internationally renowned painter Len Tabner is waiting for it.

Len's exhibition has already had a six-month run. It is being held over for another six months to enable a reunion of David and Len, who were very old friends.

They first met more than 50 years ago at the age of 11. They moved from separate primary schools to Victoria Street Secondary Modern in South Bank. David introduced himself to Len and told him: "I am David Mulholland and I am going to be an artist".

They spent most of their schooldays painting and drawing and after completing school, they travelled around Europe together before going their separate ways to university places and artistic success. …
