Warriors Hitters Lift Competition Leaders to Massive Win over Aces

WARRIORS emphasised they would be the team to beat in the TSA A-grade women's finals with a dominant 15-1 win over Aces at Kearneys Spring Sporting Complex.

Aces employed Karyn Houston and Kaylene Holley as pitchers but neither was able to keep the Warriors hitters in check.

Warriors produced a quality team hitting performance as they did a great job at moving runners over.

That gave great run support to Warriors pitcher Tracy Edards, who was able to keep the Aces batting quiet.

The result cements Warriors as the competition leaders, while Aces remain anchored to the bottom of the ladder.

In the other women's A-grade game, All Stars beat Dodgers 6-4.

Darleen Davis stepped up to pitch for All Stars and while the Dodgers hitters were able to get plenty of bat on ball, she said she left it to her field to back her up.

They were able to do that just enough as the All Stars hitters were able to provide enough run support for the win, which helps All Stars hold down second on the ladder. …
