FROM the tragic death of one beautiful Sunshine Coast child will come funds to help another in her fight for a normal life.

Little Pippa Blake, the 23-month-old Caloundra West toddler who fought the same rare disease that killed her twin brother Braxton late last year, died on February 8.

This was the same day another Sunshine Coast toddler, Jameela Cox-Bowden, turned three.

Jameela has been recovering in the Royal Brisbane Hospital from a serious car crash on the Bruce Hwy on December 8.

Her brain was damaged in the accident and the toddler's parents Carolyn Cox and Jason Bowden, have spent nine-and-a-half-weeks hoping for her recovery.

It has been a long journey and even though Jameela has made huge progress - waking up from her coma and smiling at her parents - there is still a long road ahead.

She has to learn to walk, talk and interact all over again.

Pippa's mother Kerry will donate all the money collected from a fundraising raffle planned for today to help Pippa, to Jameela's parents. …
