February 18 TODAY: Terrific night of football, with the return of the Champions League providing real interest for the neutral. Manchester City can prove how far they have come in the space of a year by posting a convincing display against Barcelona while Yohan Cabaye, who left St James' Park for Champions League football, will step out for Paris Saint-Germain in their away fixture at Bayer Leverkusen. Locally there are big games for Hartlepool - who head to seventh-placed Southend United - and Carlisle, who play Coventry at their temporary Northampton home. TOMORROW: More Champions League action as Arsenal take on Bayern Munich at the Emirates in a really mouth-watering clash. In Sochi, it's the business end of the curling tournament as Eve Muirhead's GB team head into the semi-finals of a competition they hope to medal in. THURSDAY: The Europa League returns and while Alan Pardew isn't a fan - he made a pointed observation that every manager involved in the competition has lost his job this year - there are some decent-looking games in the second round. …
