Honours Could Yet B Going to Lemington! Social Finish in the Driving Seat NORTH EAST SUNDAY LEAGUE

LEMINGTON Social, having completed their fixtures, sit at the top of B Division.

However, they could be pipped for the championship by The Crockets and Slatyford Tenants, who have games in hand.

Slatyford dropped valuable points when they were held to a 2-2 draw at Walker Jubilee, while The Crockets defeated Oak 3-1. In the only two games played in C Division, Wallsend Engineers won 1-0 at Kenton Jubilee - Steve Gallagher grabbing the winner.

Robert Nolan scored both goals for Grainger Park in their 2-2 draw with Wallsend Comrades.

D Division is still wide open as leaders High Howdon Social lost 1-0 at Jolly Bowman, Graham Curtis with the winner.

Westerhope Excelsior were also 1-0 victors to move into second spot.

Jordan O'Neil nabbed the vital strike against Sea Horse.

Kenton Park, who are in third place, defeated fellow title challengers Heddon St Andrews 4-1. Whitley Lodge Snooker were held to a 2-2 draw by Marlborough Social and Blacksmiths Arms prevailed 4-0 at Westacres. …
