BARNABAS CENTER PLANS RIBBON-CUTTING

The nonprofit Barnabas Center hosts a 4 p.m. Monday ribbon-cutting at its new headquarters at 1303 Jasmine St. in Fernandina Beach. The new center replaces one at South 11th Street and offers the agency's "safety net" services such as crisis assistance, food donations and medical and dental care for uninsured low-income residents. VALUE ADJUSTMENT BOARD MEETS

The county's Value Adjustment Board meets at 5 p.m. Monday at the government complex, 96135 Nassau Place, Yulee. The board will review recommendations of petitions filed last year with the special magistrates and render final determination. Public comment will be taken on general matters.

3 ORANGE PARK

DIAPER DERBY DASH ... WELL, CRAWL

Moms and Dads can register their babies for Saturday's Diaper Derby. The little tots will crawl to a finish line at Orange Park Mall in the JCPenney court, 1910 Wells Road, for the 11 a.m.-1 p.m. event. Parents also will have the opportunity to visit vendor tables with special family services and discounts while the kids enjoy crafts, activities, face painting and more. Free registration for children no older than 12 months is now available at Guest Services at the mall.

4 ORANGE PARK

FESTIVAL AT TOWN HALL PARK

Orange Park's Festival of Food - Arts and Crafts will be 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday at Town Hall Park, 2042 Park Ave. Proceeds will benefit Clay County Youth Character Building. For more, ycbcamp.com.

AUGUSTA SAVAGE TRIBUTE

The Augusta Savage Arts and Community Center in Green Cove Springs is celebrating Black History Month with a tribute to Augusta Savage, her art and legacy.
