KH YPN. When is LSC going 2resurface Braitwaite St between the 2roundabouts? Shocking. Patch it up. LOL.

T, R'TON. When social evils raise their heads one hears the chorus - Public education - Teach it in schools ! I was once part of that chorus. Nowadays, I can't identify one social evil that has disappeared. Yes, educate first, but it seems that the only thing that will really change behaviour is the certainty of being caught and punished.

BOB PACEY. Thanks CL. My poem was in response to a discussion that I listened to on the local radio about dress standards in our schools and of course was penned with tongue in cheek. I myself attended a private school where uniforms were compulsory. Cheers.

TIM, STH RTON. Editor, the story on page 3 today's Bulletin "Family cheer at beach party", can you please not use white printing on that colour background as I cannot read it!

EDITOR COMMENT: Thanks for the feedback. We will ban that.

GT. Is it Sandy CC, doesn't know 'our' ABC is wholly taxpayer funded and not a 'private industry'? Ms Palaszcyuk criticized it, but she did not refuse the money - nor did any other Labor MPs. To be fair, for her to get paid less than Leigh Sales of ABC 7.30 is pretty poor, don't you think?

TERRY TCG GGG YEPPOON. Go Manly you beautiful things. Yes and how dare they boo Stewart off. Ha.

Hmmm, who pays the wages to "independent tribunal" staff, who in turn granted these double digit percentage increases?

WILLIAM. FRENCHVILLE. I don't know anything about Rugby League, nor do I like it, or watch it, but I'm starting to dislike this Sea Eagles, Seagulls team, whatever they are as well. Soon as I see SMS start with Manly or Eagles or something, I glance straight over it. Even politics more interesting.

KEV. NORTH ROCKHAMPTON. Sorry VOTED. I forgot to look up social media to find out what I should think. …
