Article excerpt

IT'S been a hectic couple of weeks at Durham City following the sacking of manager Adam Furness and his assistant Ian Skinner.

James Moore joined Team Northumbria and Craig Ellison went to Newcastle Benfield, while Alex Francis (West Auckland Town) and Craig Hindmarch (Esh Winning) also moved on.

Morpeth Town boss Nicky Gray reckons that just one win from their last six games will see them over the line.

Gray's hoping it will come at the expense of Newcastle Benfield at Craik Park but a blow is that he cannot name Michael Hall, Sean Taylor or Chris Jewels.

Benfield manager Steve Bowey has even bigger problems with Paul Talbot, Mark Convery, Carl Patterson, Gary Day, Jordan Mellish and Michael Riley all sidelined. …
