THIRD FRIDAY DOWNTOWN STREET PARTY

Friday is the monthly Third Friday Downtown Street Party 6-10 p.m. in Palatka. A few blocks of St. Johns Avenue will be closed off for live music and dancing in the streets. There'll be food and beverages, arts and crafts, a free 7 p.m. "Despicable Me 2" Movie Night on the courthouse lawn, an open house at the Art Shoppe and Gallery and the Art League's Angels for Angels Auction at the Tilghman House. The party is in the 200-300 blocks of St. Johns Avenue.

HISTORICAL SOCIETY EVENTS

The Penney Farms Historical Society will meet to announce a historical program at 7 p.m. Thursday at 4100 Clark Ave. The group also will host an open house 1:30-3 p.m. Sunday, March 23.

CLAY ELECTRIC COOP ANNUAL MEETING

Clay Electric utility cooperative will have its 76th annual meeting beginning at 9 a.m. Thursday featuring live entertainment, health screenings and a grilled chicken lunch for members. A PLAY ABOUT ANN LANDERS

MERCY SUPPORT SERVICES MEETING

Mercy Support Services will meet about county transportation services at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Salvation Army, 2795 County Road 220, Middleburg. The network forms partnerships to initiate services that are missing within the county and a centralized clearing house where people in crisis are screened, qualified and case-managed until they are self-sufficient. …
