THE Beef Australia 2015 team are taking the event to the next level -- the silver screen.

Not content with 85,000 people from 37 countries attending the 2012 event, chief executive officer Denis Cox and chef Shane Bailey plan to make 2015 bigger and juicier.

Mr Bailey is organising a Celebrity Chef program for the internationally renowned event from May 4 to 9.

Mr Cox said the program would take Australian beef worldwide, with chefs hopefully being filmed while they participated in the program.

They can then take the footage back to their home countries for it to be aired.

While a well done steak would have most people in the Beef Capital drooling, Mr Cox knows rumps and rib fillets aren't the only way to enjoy beef.

That's what they are hoping the chefs will illustrate with their cultural dishes.

"We are looking to take that story to 'foodies' around the world," Mr Cox said. …
