TONIGHT the Grafton Greyhound Racing Club in conjunction with Greyhound Racing NSW will be doing its bit to raise funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation when conducting its 3rd annual Red Roses night of greyhound racing.

Each of the 32 greyhound racing tracks throughout NSW have been allotted one race meeting during the month of May to raise valuable funds to assist in the fight against Cystic Fibrosis and assistance for those which suffer from the life threatening genetic condition.

For each greyhound which salutes in its race at each of these race meetings carrying the red number 1 rug Greyhound Racing NSW will contribute $250 to the cause and it is hoped that these donations along with additional fundraising being conducted by the clubs will see upwards of $100,000 raised for the Foundation. The races tonight are named after the individuals and business houses who have been generous to sponsor a race with all of the proceeds from there sponsorship also being donated to the cause and the Grafton Greyhound Racing Club would like to thank those that have sponsored a race on behalf of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Orara Bliss looks to be one of the brighter chances however she does not step out until race 10 in the last of five Grafton GBOTA heats over 407m.

The Gary Smith trained Orara Bliss is a noted box 1 runner which loves to dash towards the inside running rail straight after the boxes open so she is ideally drawn in that box tonight. Orara Bliss has clocked a slick 22.92 seconds from this draw and is also a last start 480m winner from the same box. …
