Immanuel Arts Festival

THE 33rd Immanuel Arts featured artists Rayma Eveson (artist in focus) who specialises in pastel work, Mervyn Jefferson (artist in residence) who specialises in painting and pottery, Robyn Woodrow (artist in residence) who specialises in recycled art, and Sally Chandler (artist in residence) who specialises in painting and drawing. All artwork will be exhibited and on sale.

The art exhibition is open from today until Sunday at Immanuel Lutheran College, Wises Rd, Maroochydore. Entry is $5. For more information visit



Shakespeare in Song: Mapleton Choir

THE Mapleton Choir's Shakespeare in Song - a choral paraphrase of the play, Cymbeline presents a full-length choral work based on Shakespeare's romantic tragedy Cymbeline.

SINGER/SONGWRITER Snez, from the Blue Mountains, is passing through Maleny and Noosa on her Outback Winter tour sharing stories and songs. The first single, Green, from the new album appeared in the top 10 triple J pop charts for a number of weeks.

Bali Hai open garden and market

THE Sunshine Coast Community Hospice fundraising event includes the launch of their cookbook Fabulous Food, plant workshops, an auction and a cooking demonstration. There will be an all-day cafe, a sausage sizzle, stalls, a day spa, raffles and live music.
