Body Found in the Tyne - Loved Ones of Missing Pau Are Told It May Be Her

DAZED loved ones of missing Pau Kim Lau have been told a woman's body was pulled from the Tyne.

It was spotted in the water opposite Newcastle Law Courts on Newcastle Quayside at 10.33 yesterday morning.

Pau Kim went missing from her home on May 2 and a police search swung into action.

The 36-year-old was seen on CCTV in Warwick Street, which is near her home at Molineux Court in Byker, Newcastle.

She then walked to Stoddart Street, where she was seen near the Tesco store at around 6pm.

Police also had footage of her leaving her home at Since then teams of police have been searching for her. Pau Kim's family also made an emotional plea to the public to ask for their help to find her.

A spokesman for Northumbria Police said: "At 10.33am on Friday May 23, police received a report of a body in the River Tyne at Newcastle Quayside.
