Some great results and scores have been witnessed during the past week.

Heading the list was the massive course record -breaking score of 65 carded by Scottie Warren in taking out the gross event at our Oakwood Park Open Day on Sunday.

Not only can Scott swing a hammer, but also his golf clubs in an impressive display. As a result, he also took out the appoach shot, rounding off a great day.

The Open Day was a great success with a large field competing in both Mens A & B Grades and the Women's Division, and thanks must go to both Ros Savidge and Gary Hay for the successful organisation and the wonderful array of winter- type prizes that were available.

David Caflisch with a gross of 73 was Div A runner-up, Wade Baddeley claimed the net with a handy 66 on countback from the ever consistent Johno Moore 66.

Greg Caflish took the pin shot and Jess Findlay topping the longest drive.

The B Grade, Eddie Richardson took out the gross with a fine 86 on a countback from Barry Gibson whilst Mick Ferry featured in the net with a commendable 66 with Steve Wilson R/Uon 67. …
