NORTHUMBERLAND motorcycle star Graeme Gowland has moved up to second in the Motorpoint British Supersport Championship after two wins at Snetterton. As the championship rolled into the Norfolk track for the third round after its long six-week break, the Allendale rider stole the show with two dominant wins - putting himself back in the title hunt.

Of course, McConnell wasn't about to surrender a potential win without a fight and kept right on his back wheel for much of the lap.

As they reached Agostini, a tiny mistake from Gowland was enough to let his team-mate through.

However, Gowland wasn't done yet and he caught up to him again, made a move into the lead on the final corner and held it to the flag - taking his first Supersport win since 2010. …
