LEADING Sydney trainer Chris Waller will make a three-pronged attack on the final Group One of the Australian racing season today in the $500,000 Tatts Tiara (1400m) at Eagle Farm.

Waller will send around favour-ite Red Tracer ($4.20), quality four-year-old mare Catkins ($4.80) and outsider She's Clean ($31).

Red Tracer is coming off a 10th in the Group One Stradbroke Hcp (1400m) at the same track on June 7, where she was forced to go back from a wide draw and was second- last of the 18 runners on the turn in a race that suited the leaders.

While the stable was initially disappointed, Waller's racing manager Liam Prior said on review, getting within 4.4 lengths of the winner, River Lad, was a better effort than it appeared.

"We were happy with her run. Obviously, she didn't have any luck and they ran home their final 600m in 33.7 (seconds)," Prior told TVN.

"The more you watch the replay the more you come to the conclusion it wasn't that bad a run. …
