THE battle for this season's Clifford Park premierships shows no signs of waning with the four main contenders all looking strongly placed to improve their positions tomorrow.

With four meetings remaining in the racing year, Ben Currie leads the trainer's race with 25 wins to be 11/2 wins ahead of Tony Sears.

Defending premier Skye Bogenhuber, on 241/2 wins, is three clear of apprentice Brook Stower as she bids for back-to-back titles.

Each of the quartet is sure to be popular with punters in their championship bids tomorrow as they threaten to dominate the six-race card.

Sears and Stower will combine with pre-post favourites Gold Pan ($2.35), Madge ($2.35) and Road Train Rosie ($2.60).

Currie's eight stable runners include popular early elects Sigmund ($2) and Leaps And Bounds ($1.60) who will be partnered by Bogenhuber.

Former Melbourne filly Leaps And Bounds backs up in this week's Wimmers Soft Drinks Class 3 Plate (1050m) after her effortless victory in last Saturday's Class 2 (1050m). …
