ANIMATING SPACES EVENTS

High Tide is on tonight from 5pm to 8pm at Yeppoon's main beachfront.

Through the Porthole is on tomorrow from 1pm to 5pm, to be presented in an art trail through Beaman Park in Yeppoon CBD.

Digital Drifting is on tomorrow night from 5.30pm to 7.30pm at Yeppoon Town Hall, Normanby St.

YEPPOON'S CBD will be transformed into an artistic space filled with colour, light and community spirit as Animating Spaces comes to life this weekend.

Federal, state and locally funded, the project is being delivered by Artslink Queensland and Keppel Coast Arts, and held to revitalise regional communities through the arts.

The project will bring together local artists, primary school students and members of the local community to celebrate Yeppoon's landmarks, history and spirit.

One of the artists involved is Anni Simmons, whose lanterns and flags as part of the High Tide event tonight will be on display.
