THE 12th annual Sunshine Coast Daily Careers Expo, incorporating the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Queensland (CCIQ) Job Shop, is back to provide much needed information on employment, study and training opportunities for career seekers within the Sunshine Coast community.

The Sunshine Coast Daily Careers Expo is a unique opportunity for anyone seeking further study, apprenticeship or traineeship opportunities, employment options and businesses looking for staff training choices.

A record number of exhibitors will make their presence felt at the expo, enabling visitors to speak with more than 170 highly qualified representatives from more than 90 organisations providing relevant and up-to-date knowledge in the education, training and employment sectors.

Exhibitors will include Queensland and interstate universities, as well as the Defence Forces, a diverse range of employers, job service agencies, and private and further education providers, who will cover information technology, biotechnology, aviation, early childhood education, hotel management, health care, hairdressing, creative and performing arts, business education and more.

We are also pleased to welcome back WorldSkills Australia and Try'a Skill to the event.

This precinct is an interactive program that allows visitors to try various skills and trade areas.

This will include displays that are entertaining, informative and offer access to some of the basic skills involved with a range of fields.

This is a community-based event that is staged each year by tertiary and vocational course providers, employers and support agencies for the benefit of students, parents and career seekers of all ages. …
