PATRICK VAN AANHOLT has revealed he "is done" at Chelsea following their decision to sign Filipe Luis from Atletico Madrid. Luis is on the verge of completing a PS16million move from the La Liga champions after a protracted saga during the close season which has seen him banished to train with the reserves.

Van Aanholt, 23, had hoped he might finally be given a chance to impress at left-back for Chelsea following the release of Ashley Cole at the end of the last campaign.

Thorgan joined from Lens for PS2.5million in 2012, the same year Eden arrived from Lille, but he has spent the past two seasons on loan at Zulte Waregem and will play for Borussia Moenchengladbach next term.

He was named Belgium's Player of the Year in May after scoring 16 goals in 43 appearances for Zulte and Mourinho went to watch him in action against Anderlecht. …
