Fine Family Heritage; Duncan Notches Up 100 Games for His Club

HIS grandfather founded the Gladstone Mudcrabs and began a rich history within the family, a history Duncan Redway has added to by reaching 100 games for the club.

At only 17-years-old, Duncan has piled on matches to reach the esteemed mark, and is proud to carry on the tradition of being a Redway in the Mudcrabs.

"It was my pop and a couple of his mates who decided they were sick of rugby league and wanted to play footy," Duncan said. "I knew I was getting close, but I didn't realise it would be 100 so quickly."

A talented player, Duncan has racked up games in quick succession this season, playing both under-17s and in the senior grades.

Now a regular in the A-grade unit and a future prospect to lead the club, Redway is officially at 101 games and will play another two today.

His 100th was in the U17s last Saturday, where the team notched a healthy 117-32 win over Brothers. …
