Capt. Harvey Guffey, commanding officer of Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base in Southeast Georgia, is the guest speaker at the next European American Business Club meeting on 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Amelia River Golf Club at 4477 Buccaneer Trail. GOLF TOURNAMENT AUCTION ITEMS SOUGHT

The Greater Nassau County Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the 23rd annual "Chamber Classic" Golf Tournament at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, at the North Hampton Golf and Country Club at 22680 N. Hampton Club Way. The chamber is asking for donations for its silent auction, door prizes or advertisement items given to each player. Hole sponsorship is $100; individual players are $125 per person; a foursome is $500; and a business sponsor is $600.
