IT IS 1.20pm on Saturday and Trish Tait has about 15 minutes to see her son's soccer grand final before driving back to see her daughter's game.

There's no doubt about it, this weekend is a busy one for many Sunshine Coast families with sporting fever sweeping the region.

On Friday, senior soccer grand finals are on in Coolum, Nambour and Noosa, before rugby union, junior soccer, hockey, netball, rugby league and horse racing on Saturday.

Cricket and Surfing Queensland Junior State Titles are on all weekend, then on Sunday, the Ironman 70.3 Sunshine Coast is in Mooloolaba.

Mrs Tait and her husband Jim have three children all playing soccer grand finals this weekend and they've devised a plan.

James, 19, is representing Caloundra Football Club on Friday night in Coolum.

Then on Saturday, 16-year-old Jack is playing at 1.20pm at Maroochydore Rd, Maroochydore for Buderim Wanderers and 11-year-old Brooke is playing at Fishermans Rd, Maroochydore at 1. …
