FORGET anything that may be going on elsewhere regarding Sir Cliff Richard, there is no denying he has had a monumental singing career.

Now, a tribute act to the Peter Pan of pop is to perform at the Seaton Delaval Arts Centre this month.

The Cliff As If show is billed as vibrant, full of energy, fun and of course great music with covers of all Cliff classics from the late 50s right up to the present day.

Previous audiences have been thrilled by the way in which CliffRichard is portrayed with the sound, the moves and the look.

The show is performed by Will Chandler, who in May 2007 began his tribute show. Up until then Will had been working across the UK with many rock n roll bands as a front man, usually as Cliff mainly because of the striking physical resemblance and vocal similarity.

Cliff As If came about due to a meeting that Will had with Cliff Richard at the BBC London radio station in 2007.

Cliff had been doing a live phonein and Will was invited to be in the studio. …
