What was your original career choice? A rock drummer. I have been a dreamer for a long time now and still like to hit the stage occasionally but it's not looking like Wembley Stadium is in the sights anymore.

Your favourite place in the world and why? I actually haven't travelled much and so I'd have to say that England is on the cards. I'm super keen to do the ABC tour..... "Another Bloody Castle" tour that is. Love history.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years time? I'd hope to be still in this industry, however, also neck deep in property development as the Sunshine Coast is going to be a very different place by then and we are lucky to be a part of it.

First sale? It was 2011 when, during the pouring rain, I sold a property on Whitehorse Rd, Doncaster, under the hammer.

Most memorable sale? That would have to be the old haunted house in Deagon. It was a half-falling-down, definite demolition job but most of my buyers were keen to renovate. I kept looking back through the pics to see any creepy faces in the windows as it had been vacant for years. Anyway, it sold within two weeks for a record for the street.

Where do you consider to be the next hot spots of the Coast? I am a big fan of Maroochydore and surrounds so I'd have to say Mountain Creek and Kuluin are destined for some strong growth. Considering such great block sizes and access to the CBD, hospital and the freeway, it's a sure thing that the next few years will be strong ones for these and other nearby suburbs.

Where is booming now? The properties I have sold in Buddina, Warana and surrounds have been really strong performers, with a lot of new buyers coming into that market each week. Everyone is after a project home near the beach these days and they are increasing the premiums at a strong and steady rate. Also, vacancy rates are below 1% and this is obviously driving up potential yields.

Is there an area you particularly focus on? I'm really partial to Kuluin, Mountain Creek and surrounds, with many homes in these areas on great blocks with access to conveniences and the beach.

Where did you grow up and your clearest childhood memory? …
