FOR even a casual observer, this year's Coffs Harbour Buskers Festival will be a very different event.

With a streamlined program of just six and a half days, some acts will only be in town for one or two days. Hence the organisers are reminding audiences to watch the program closely.

The mix of acts, however, will be the thing that really stands out this year.

With the program featuring a sand artist, a Zimbabwean acrobatic group, a four-piece violin and cello group, and two comedians, it will actually be hard to find a juggling act.

The festival begins with a special event preview this Sunday at the Harbourside Markets.

Once again, acts will converge from all over Australia, along with invited overseas artists. 16 outstanding acts will be part of the event across six days, 12 venues, and more than 100 shows.

From the USA, an act that organisers boast is the 'best undiscovered comedy talent in USA' - The Blackstreet Boys - will perform, along with amazing Zimbabwean born acrobats Zimboyz, the beautiful violin and cello playing teens Quatro, mesmerising young Sydney male dance crew Karizmo, laugh-a-minute comedians The Nelson Twins, Phil Cass and Lindsay Webb, street hypnotist Wayne Donnelly, the incredible Ina Bikerina, plus motor cross comedy stuntman Epic Darren, sword swallower Aerial Manx, who does a back flip while the sword is in his mouth, and a whole lot more. …
