TOIL and trouble for the FTSE 100 again yesterday, down 0.18% at 6792.2, with markets remaining sheepish ahead of Thursday's Referendum result.

Amongst the worst performers in the index were International Consolidated Airlines and EasyJet, down 1.7% and 1.8% respectively on the back of labour concerns following strikes from AirFrance's flight staff.

Pilots and cabin crews are on strike after AirFrance issued plans to lower the remuneration packages for staff operating on discount airlines.

Tullow Oil and Arm Holdings have also suffered, down 2% and 1.9% after having gone ex-dividend.

Elsewhere in the AIM Index, ASOS - the online retailer - issued a mixed trading statement leading to the shares falling 8.9% on the day. With 2015 forecasts remaining flat together with warehouse fires, lower selling prices and increased investment into logistical and technological upgrades, the company has issued a profit warning, putting pressure on international growth prospects. …
