SOME of the top trends for Spring/Summer 2014 and '15 were revealed during London Fashion Week.

Leading fashion designers displayed their best products from beautiful gowns to pants and crop tops on offer throughout the week.

Although the red carpet and the catwalk clothing and products are a strain on the purse, we can certainly draw inspiration from the trends on show and subsidise them for more affordable pieces from local retail stores.

Maxi dresses and skirts were huge across many of the designers' shows including ISSA, Matthew Williamson and Design Collective for Evans.

The dresses ranged from free-flowing and bright like the Matthew Williamson gown pictured in the middle of page 28 through to the ISSA ensemble, a strapless and elegant maxi.

Prints were bright and vibrant and floral was a standout among floaty dresses and skirts.

Pieces which were on the darker colour spectrum had contrasting coloured accessories or shoes added to make the outfit "pop". …
