TREMANIAC Racing got the win they were looking for during the ANDRA Drag Racing Series Pro Stock at the Benaraby Nationals courtesy of Tyronne Tremayne and the win sets up the chance for him to square the ledger with his brother Aaron.

It wasn't 2014 Pro Stock championship leader, and four-time series winner (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011) Aaron who walked away with the ANDRA Silver Christmas tree, it was Tyronne who defeated his rivals to all but guarantee a brother-versus-brother for the title.

In Aaron's four series wins Tyronne has been runner-up three times and the final round of the season on October 31 at Sydney Dragway could be the chance Tyronne needs to equal his brother's tally.

Running over 660 feet at Benaraby Raceway in a last minute change, Tyronne and John Barbagallo fought a close contest all weekend down to qualifying with the exact 4.539 ET.

Although Aaron Tremayne qualified number one, Barbagallo and Tyronne would meet in another close showdown in the final after Tyronne despatched Scott Porter and his brother while Barbagallo defeated Rob Nunn to earn a bye in the semi-final. …
