CLASSY Bonville golfer Tim Hyland made it two in a row when he took out the 2014 North Coast Amateur Open title by two strokes at Coffs Harbour Golf Club.

Hyland mastered the difficult, blustery conditions to finish with an outstanding second round card of 73.

The eventual winner stayed consistent over the two days to finish the 36-hole event with a score of 148.

Runner-up was Nathan Mann, from Longyard Golf Club, who held out Nathan Trezise, of Brisbane Golf Club, on a countback.

Each carded 150 and the pair was followed into the clubhouse by Grant Skinner on 151 and Tom Major with 152.

Chris Spencer was the overall nett winner.

The North Coast Ladies Classic was extended when Amelia Mehmet-Grohn and Horton Park visitor Annabel Harris were tied on 168 at the end of the regular 36 holes.

The three-hole playoff was another nail-biting affair, with Mehmet-Grohn holding on.

She shot consecutive rounds of 84, while Harris posted 85 and 83. …
