PEAKY BLINDERS BBC2, 9pm There may be the comparisons with Boardwalk Empire, and Cillian Murphy's Birmingham accent may take a little getting used to, but those niggles are tiny when you consider the stylish brilliance of Steven Knight's epic crime drama. With a top-drawer cast including Helen McCrory and Tom Hardy, series two has made for compelling viewing and the latest episode is no exception. It's Derby Day at Epsom, and under orders from Major Campbell, Tommy is there to assassinate a member of the military establishment.

SCROTAL RECALL Channel 4, 10pm A sitcom about warning exes they might have chlamydia? It's not exactly a quintessential British sitcom like Dad's Army or The Good Life is it? But then again Channel 4 have always prided themselves on pushing the boundaries a little, and praise must go to Johnny Flynn who plays twentysomething romantic Dylan, and has helped turned this into engaging TV. As the series draws to a close, our hero, encouraged by Luke (Daniel Ings), sets about to find Phoebe (Susannah Fielding). …
