A BUNDABERG student's dream has come true after being accepted into a unique Queensland Academy.

The Queensland Academy for Creative Industries in Brisbane is a state of the art, seven-storey facility designed to develop the creative potential of students whose talent lies in the study of the visual arts, music, theatre, film, design and technology.

Fifteen-year-old Chelsea Martin will begin studying at the innovative academy early next year and said she was thrilled when she received her letter of acceptance.

"I was very excited when I found out I had finally be accepted," Chelsea said.

"The application process involved a lot of hard work and was quite stressful because I had to sit entrance exams and create different PowerPoints but it was all worth it."

Chelsea had applied to the academy earlier this year and after passing her entrance exam she was invited to attend a three-hour interview with the faculty of the school to discuss her future goals. …
