YOUR VIEW A chance for local charities, voluntary organisations and advice groups to reach our readers TODAY: ROB BELL, Diversionary Activities co-ordinator, Corner House | AS we draw to an end of another year, we here at Corner House Youth Project would like to reflect on what has been another successful year.

Firstly our Alternative Education programme, which had group members achieve a NOCN STEP UP qualification and many of them move on to apprenticeships and college placements.

As they move on, new year 10 groups arrive and with them fresh challenges.

Twelve weeks in to their first term here and they are already well under way towards achieving the same as the young people who left this summer.

Our targeted youth work grows from strength to strength and we now operate in four separate areas of Stock-Stockton on Tees.

We cover Norton Grange on Monday, Friday and Saturday evenings, Parkfield on Wednesday and Saturday evenings, Port Clarence on Tuesday evenings and Newtown on Thursday evenings. …
