IVOTEDASWELL. I would do the hard yards under the LNP then have Labor stuff it up again. Bowen comes accross as a smart (you know what). Get out of the way and let them fix the problems that Labor left them.

BILL TENNENT, COOWONGA.Thumbs up to the Livingstone Shire Council for having an end-loader repairing damage to the Coowonga Road on Sunday after the rain during the week & especially on Saturday. Hope our drought ravaged farmers got their share.

JACKO. Looks like bikie gangs are running amok in Melbourne with the Mongols key suspects in 2 arson attacks on a St Kilda restaurant. Thank goodness the High Court upheld Newman's tough anti bikie laws. Wonder if the new Labor g'ment in Victoria will adopt those same laws as other states plan to?

BB, NROK. Rockhampton drivers - agreed not the best, but in last 18 months I have been in 4 of our capital cities. None stop at amber light, and 4 or more cars continue through red light. Worst being Sydney. Rockhampton doesn't compare.

JJ, ALLENTOWN. Hey grey nomad Morris Reid I think you have it all wrong. Have a look at how many traffic lights there actually are in Rocky due to our council being obsessed with putting one on each street corner, and then synchronizing them so that if you want to get the next green you have to speed. Now they're slowly putting cameras on them to raise some revenue!

TROGG, G,MERE. Seems the fuel cartel in Rockhampton is determined to ignore the fact that fuel prices are lower and going down further. Wonder which patch of sand Landry and Byrne and the ACCC have their heads stuck in.

TERRY, TAROOMBALL. RK Rocky Sorry mate I don't need work at present. But unlike you Dominic is an asset to Rockhampton and in the years to come he will show it.

ANON. No nativity in Canberra this Christmas

CC, ROCKY. Mr Abbott wishes public servants Merry Xmas by the way you're sacked!

GRAHAM, KAWANA. More rolls than a bakery. I'm referring to grossly overweight local men and women who waddle about shopping centres wearing clothes 6 sizes too small. Take a look in the mirror before going out in public.

MARGARET EVANS. many thanks to rocky hospital and particularly rehab for the caring attention i was given on my recent stay there when i broke my hip
