A SEVEN-YEAR-OLD girl and her mother are to cut their hair off in aid of a cancer charity.

Partially-sighted Heidi Wallwork will be left with a short bob after she makes the cut in the hope of raising hundreds of pounds for the charity the Little Princess Trust.

And her mother, Leanne, 32, has agreed to cut off her own locks to support her daughter's efforts.

The pair will head to a hairdressers in Byker this Saturday as they attempt to raise hundreds of pounds for the cancer charity, which is close to their hearts.

Heidi, who will be cutting off at least 17cm (seven inches), decided to support the charity after it provided her cousin with a wig when he lost his own hair due to cancer treatment. She is hoping to raise at least PS700 for the charity to help a child who is going through tough cancer treatment. …
