CAMPAIGN TO END HOMELESSNESS

Clay, Duval and Nassau counties are among 67 nationwide selected to participate in "Zero: 2016," a national campaign to end chronic homelessness in the next two years. The counties were selected by Community Solutions, a national nonprofit, which will work with the communities to meet federal goals of ending veteran homelessness by December 2015 and chronic homelessness by December 2016. BEACHES MUSEUM SEEKS HELP

The Beaches Museum and History Park has begun a campaign to relocate the oldest remaining house in the area to its historical park at 381 Beach Blvd. The 1873 Oesterreicher-McCormick Homestead is a rare example of Duval County's "cracker" architecture, and was donated by the J.T. and Jean McCormick family. COUNTY COMMISSION RESCHEDULED

The regularly scheduled Monday meeting of the Nassau County Board of County Commissioners has been rescheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday, according to county officials. The meeting, open to the public, is held in the James S. Page Governmental Complex, 96135 Nassau Place. The agenda will be available closer to meeting time at nassaucountyfl.com.
