DURING December, Ray White Mountain Creek took part in A Little Ray of Giving to collect gifts for less fortunate families, especially children for Christmas.

"The response from the community was wonderful," Jodi Price, of Ray White Mountain Creek, said. "We collected more than 80 gifts for Sunnykids. Hopefully that accounted for an extra 80 smiles on Christmas day that we helped make happen.

"The most common comment from many of our clients was how much enjoyment they got from shopping for the kids, especially parents like myself who have grown children and miss the magic of little ones around at Christmas."

Ray White Mountain Creek and Rotary Club Alexandra Headland collected gifts for presentation to Rachael Witton, of Sunnykids.

Although only January, Ms Price is already planning her contribution for the 2015 festive season.

Jodie's a good sport

Bowlers toughed it out through a series of hot days in search of the prize.

An avid golfer Ms McDonell says she's learning the bowls lingo quickly and Club Maroochy is a great place to do that with such a friendly welcoming group of members.

"I'm looking forward to being involved in Club Maroochy during 2015 and hopefully that will see some barefoot bowls of my own," she said.

On a roll with prizes

RAY White Buderim recently gave away another easily identifiable yellow bike as the Christmas raffle prize in conjunction with The Chopping Block CafA[c].

With 165 entries vying for the shiny new bike Buderim residents Paul and Nicole Riccioni were the lucky winners.

The Ray White yellow bikes are becoming a sought-after item on the Sunshine Coast, with Brett Graham, principal of the Buderim office, saying he will be placing a further 10 orders to satisfy the demand from the offices that want to run giveaway competitions this year. …
