PATTERSON MARGARET (Newcastle). Margaret (nee Sharp), beloved mam of Linda, Margaret and Rob, dearest mother-inlaw, grandma and great grandma. Passed away peacefully on Sunday 28th December 2014 whilst with family in Leicester. Funeral Service at Whitley Bay Crematorium on Friday January 16th at 1.30pm. PEEL EDNA (Wrekenton). On 24th December, aged 78 years, Edna (nee Scott), dearly loved wife of the late Tommy, much loved and missed mam of Edna, Carole and Thomas, much loved mother-inlaw of Robert, Michael and Ellen, much loved grandma of Kirsty, Alex, Thomas and Michael and a beloved sister of Joe. Was much loved by all family and friends. Service and cremation at Saltwell Crematorium on Tuesday 13th January at 12.00noon. Friends please meet at crematorium. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to Ward 1 at Queen Elizabeth Hospital or to the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation, a donation may be made at the service. Afterwards all welcome back to the Stormont Main Club.

SEWARD MAUD (Durham). On December 29th of Salisbury Road, Newton Hall, Maud, aged 88 years, dearly loved wife of Derick, much loved aunt to Alison and Malcolm and a dear friend to many. Friends please meet for service and cremation at Durham Crematorium on Tuesday January 13th at 1.00pm. Donations in lieu of flowers may be given after the service for the Macmillan Nurses and British Heart Foundation.

SKELDON BRIAN (Wallsend). Brian passed away at home on 26th December, aged 65 years, dearly loved husband of Mary, devoted father of Michael and Paul, fatherin-law of Chrystal and Sophie and a much loved grandad of Liam, Jack, Beth and Emma. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends. Please meet for service at Whitley Bay Crematorium on Monday 12th January at 9.00am. Family flowers only please, donations if desired can be made at the crematorium to the June Hancock Mesothelioma Research Fund.

SMITH JOHN (Jesmond Vale). Suddenly but peacefully on 25th December 2014, aged 83 years, John, much loved husband of Doreen, dearly loved dad of Lynn, Beverley and father-in-law of Ian and Tony, proud grandad of Mark, Adam, Victoria, Ben and partners, also great grandad of Alfie, Charlie, Madison, Isla and the late Ethan. Family and friends please meet at the West Road Crematorium on Tuesday 13th January at 10.15am. Family flowers only please, a donations box for the Lung and Heart Foundation will be available on the day.

STEMPNIAK JOHN (Blyth). In hospital on 28th December after a long illness bravely fought, aged 81 years, John (Zygmunt), beloved husband of Sadie, much loved dad of Paul, Vanda, Linda, Keren and Alison and loving grandad and great grandad of all the family. Friends please meet for Funeral Service and cremation at Cowpen Crematorium on Wednesday 14th January at 3.30pm.
