SON from hell Craig Cameron's parents will finally have some peace after the bane of their lives was jailed for repeatedly harassing them.

Troublemaker Cameron has subjected dad, Paul and mum, Theresa to a campaign of misery, including ruining Christmas for them.

The 29-year-old has now breached court orders imposed to keep him away from his long-suffering parents 31 times.

As he was jailed for 16 months, his dad told how they just can't cope with the drug addict anymore.

Paul, 58, from Palmersville, North Tyneside, said in a statement read to said in a statement read to TNewcastle Crown Court he and his wife, who both have arthritis, have been plagued by their son for the past 13 years.

He said: "We've suffered since he was 16 from his behaviour and we don't want any further contact until he has proved he has changed drastically.

"He has pestered me constantly for money to fund his drug habit and I've even been in debt myself to fund his drug use. I can't afford to pay for his drug habit anymore.

"We can't cope any longer and just want him to leave us alone. I love Craig because he is my son but I really hope the court will help my wife and I to keep Craig away from us."

Cameron was already banned from going near his parents' home under the terms of a restraining order.

But in May he turned up in the early hours, prompting his mum and dad to activate a panic alarm.

When officers turned up they saw him crouching down looking through the letter box. He then struggled with police as they arrested him, injuring a PC. A couple of weeks later, on June 6, he turned up again and asked his dad for money. …
