ANDERSON RITA (St. John's Estate). Peacefully in the Freeman Hospital on 18th January 2015, aged 81 years, Rita, beloved wife of Jim, a loving sister of Jack, Peter, Eileen, Sheila and their families, sister-in-law of May, Margaret, Peter and John, a much loved aunty and great aunty. Would family and friends please meet for Requiem Mass at St. John Vianney R.C. Church Chapel House on Wednesday 4th February at 10.15am, followed by cremation at the West Road Crematorium at 11.45am. Family flowers only please, donations if so desired to the heart foundation at the Freeman Hospital. All welcome afterwards for refreshments at the Westerhope Golf Club.

ASKEW JOHN (Seaton Delaval). Peacefully on 12th January 2015, aged 91 years, John (Joe), beloved husband of Joan (nee Kelly), much loved dad of Jackie, dear father-inlaw to Bob, loving Pop of Liane, Kelly and Simon, adored great granda to Jonathan. Loved and sadly missed by all his family and friends. Funeral Service to be held at Whitley Bay Crematorium, on Tuesday 3rd February at 10.30am. Friends please meet at crematorium. Family flowers only by request, donations in lieu if desired to be shared between Parkinsons UK and The Elsdon Unit. A donation box will be available at the service.

ASKEW KEN (Annfield Plain). Suddenly at home on January 21st, aged 74 years, Ken, dear brother of Gilbert and the late Arthur, brother-in-law of Lesley and Brenda.

Janet Millicent (nee Chalmers), passed away peacefully on 16th January, aged 74 years, beloved wife of Frank, much loved mother of Tony, Gary, Brian, Deborah, Dean and the late Warren, treasured nanna of Natalie, Carl, Louis, Morgan, Jack, Laura, Hannah, Teri, Sara, Stephanie, Kimberley, Georgina and great nanna of three, also a loving sister, auntie and motherin-law.
