New series THE JUMP Sun-Fri C4 7/8pm n an Alpine-themed hotel bar in Innsbruck, Austria, Joey Essex is worrying about getting "helmet hair". Former JLS star JB Gill is showing off an armful of bruises, while Dom 'Gogglebox' Parker and cricket commentator Phil Tufnell are comparing back injuries over a pint of lager, and in the background, Lady Victoria Hervey is about to go for a walk with her dog, D'Artagnan.

It's a weird and wonderful mix of celebrities, all assembled for the second series of The Jump, Channel 4's winter sports show, hosted by Davina McCall.

Dom Parker GOGGLEBOX STAR, 50 "I've been skiing on and off for 45 years. I'm not great, but I'm reasonably confident and happy out on the slopes."

Stacey Solomon SINGER AND PRESENTER, 25 "It's so beautiful out here in Austria and that was part of the appeal. I'm also really enjoying getting fitter."

Jodie Kidd FORMER MODEL, 36 "I turned up in mid-January to replace Sally Bercow and the others had been training since November. I'm unfit and a bit nervous, too."

Ashley Roberts FORMER PUSSYCAT DOLL, 33 "Training is a rollercoaster ride, physically, emotionally... everything! I consider myself an adventurous person - I've skydived and swum with sharks - but the skeleton scares me to death. I felt like I was such a wimp."

Steve-O JACKASS STUNTMAN, 40 "I thought I was a pretty decent skier before I came out here, but it turns out I had some bad habits that I've had to un-learn. I'm the bookies' tip to win, but they're really underestimating Mike Tindall."

JB Gill EX-MEMBER OF JLS, 28 "I'm a new father and not long married, so it was a big decision for me to come out here for six weeks. But my wife Chloe is a skier, so she's keen that I get good at it too so we can go on family skiing holidays."

Louise Thompson MADE IN CHELSEA STAR, 24 "I've fallen into a comfortable way of living so I think it's important to do scary stuff. …
