Dom Parker GOGGLEBOX STAR, 50 "I've been skiing on and off for 45 years. I'm not great, but I'm reasonably confident and happy out on the slopes."

Louise Thompson MADE IN CHELSEA STAR, 24 "I've fallen into a comfortable way of living so I think it's important to do scary stuff. It's also an amazing opportunity to be trained by a real professional."

Jodie Kidd FORMER MODEL, 36 "I turned up in mid-January to replace Sally Bercow and the others had been training since November. I'm unfit and a bit nervous, too."

Jon-Allan Butterworth PARALYMPIC CYCLIST, 28 "I had an operation in September and have a new prosthetic arm. It's like wearing in a new pair of hard boots. The skeleton is hard for me because you have to cling onto it."

Lady Victoria Hervey SOCIALITE, 38 "I've skied my whole life so I'm not worried about that. The thing I'm really scared of is the skeleton. I cried, the first time I did it.

It's terrifying."

Mike Tindall EX-RUGBY PLAYER, 36 "I didn't ski for 16 years while I was a professional rugby player as you can't risk injuring yourself. …
