AGRICULTURAL supplier Carrs Billington has been announced as the major sponsor for NSA North Sheep 2015, which is returning to Cumbria for the first time in more than five years.

A key biennial event for the sheep sector, it is set bring together competitions, demonstrations, seminars and around 200 trade stands at Neil and Sally Marston's Millstone Moor Farm near Cock-Cockermouth on June 3. As a major platform to share knowledge, new industry developments and products, NSA North Sheep 2015 offers both sponsors and exhibitors the chance to reach a broad cross section of the industry, all in one place.

With its head office in Carlisle, Carrs Billington supplies a wide range of products such as compound and blended animal feeds, straights, fertilisers, seeds, animal health products, and agrochemicals, as well as services to sheep farmers.

The company has a network of 26 country stores, together with professional teams of sales specialists and advisors to support farmers.

Divisional sales manager Ian Oliver said: "This is the major sheep event in the North of the country, and a very important business platform for us.
