TWO men will face court after police allegedly found cash and drugs in a car that was pulled over in South Grafton.

The car was stopped in Herbert St after police noticed suspicious activity.

Inside, they allegedly found $22,000 in cash, 28 grams of methylamphetamine and 14 grams of another white powder believed to be cocaine.

The methylamphetamine has a potential street value of $28,000, and the powder, believed to be cocaine, would have a potential street value of $5600. A 27-year-old man, from Moree, was charged with the supply of a prohibited drug, possession of a prohibited drug and dealing with the proceeds of crime and will appear in Grafton Local Court on Monday.

A 35-year-old man, also from Warialda, was charged with two counts of possession of a prohibited drug and released on bail to appear in Grafton Local Court on April 20.

Coffs/Clarence Local Area Command Detective Inspector Darren Jameson said they were still investigating the origin and destination of the methylamphetamine. …
