Clarke to Iron out Batting Issues with Time at Crease

CRICKET: Australia skipper Michael Clarke could be set to move up the order against Scotland in Hobart today in a bid to get more batting time ahead of next week's World Cup quarter-final.

Clarke (pictured) insisted he was 100% fit after speculation about his dodgy hamstring was raised again after he walked while the rest of the squad ran during a training session at Blundstone Arena yesterday.

"I certainly am (fit)," he told reporters afterwards. "It was more just part of my recovery.

"Since coming back from my hamstring surgery we've looked at my schedule going forward ... and (Thursday) was another opportunity to make sure I recover as well as I can, not only for this game but for the quarter-final."

Australia will go into today's final Pool A clash without Xavier Doherty, who has been replaced in the starting line-up by Pat Cummins, who returns after recovering from a side strain.

Clarke hinted at a reshuffle in the batting order against the Scots. …
