RHIANNON Payne has been a loyal servant for trainer Bill Kenning and her hard work was rewarded on Saturday with a winning double at Callaghan Park.

The first winner was in the Ian Weigh Motors Maiden Plate (1200m).

It was a fitting reward for Payne, who rode Virtuity to a half-length in front of Lindsay Challacombe trained War Noise.

"It was a good gutsy win. She's (Virtuity) not bred to be sprinting but because she's been unlucky enough to run three seconds in a row, I've got to keep her for the set weight races," Kenning said. …
