ORD JOYCE (Leam Lane). On March 10th, aged 86 years, Joyce (nee Brown), beloved wife of the late William, much loved mam of John, Michael and the late Les, dear mother-inlaw of Denise, Helen and Linda, dearly loved nanna and great nanna, also a beloved sister of Betty and a dear aunt. Friends please meet for service at St. Andrew's Church, Leam Lane on Thursday 19th March at 12.15pm, with cremation to follow at Saltwell Crematorium. Family flowers only, donations to Children's Heart Unit Fund with a retiring collection at the church. Everyone welcome back to the Pelaw Social Club after the funeral.

PEARS NANCY ALBERTA (South West Denton). On March 12th, aged 98 years, peacefully at home, Nancy, dear wife of the late William and devoted sister of the late Evelyn Lawson, a dear aunt, great aunt and great great aunt. Friends please meet at West Road Crematorium on Thursday 19th March at 9.30am. Family flowers only, donations if desired to Macmillan Cancer Support, a box will be available at the crematorium.

POSTE DOROTHY (Gateshead). Peacefully in Alexandra House Care Home on 8th March 2015, aged 96 years, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt. Funeral Service to be held at Saltwell Crematorium on Friday 20th March at 12.00pm. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired in aid of the Alzheimers Society. All welcome for refreshments afterwards at the Park View Inn.

ROBSON KENNETH (Daisy Hill). Peacefully in hospital on March 5th, aged 66 years, Ken, a dearly loved dad of Gary and Julie, a dear fatherin-law of June and Mala, a loving grandad of Clare, Harry and Gemma, a much loved brother of Kathleen, John and Elizabeth and beloved brother-in-law of Val and uncle to John, also a dear friend of Olive. Ken will be deeply missed by all his loving family and friends. Would friends please meet at the West Road Crematorium on Monday 23rd March at 11.15am for service.
