FED?UP Karl Fitzpatrick is shouting from the rooftops in his bid to tackle rogue cyclists.

e stallholder was so fed up of inconsiderate bikers dodging pedestrians on Northumberland Street, he decided to take matters into his own hands.

Armed with a megaphone, he is now tackling antisocial cycling, one bike at a time.

e 29-year-old, from Byker, Newcastle said: "It's annoying how many cyclists come down this street without getting o their bikes; it's dangerous because it is a busy area.

"Nobody takes into consideration all the 'no cycling' signs which are on every other lamppost. I nd it really annoying."

So when he spots somebody disobeying the signs, he uses the loudspeaker to give them safety warnings from his vantage point outside the entrance to Eldon Square.

His actions turn heads and have attracted a lot of comments from shoppers -but they are mostly positive, he says.
