A SECRET Anzac biscuit recipe could put Toowoomba resident Kate Wilshire on par with the celebrity chefs at the Felton Food Festival on Sunday.

Ms Wilshire is excited to take part in the Anzac biscuit challenge, the newest addition to the popular festival and coinciding with the Anzac centenary.

Festival coordinator Sally McCreath said the challenge was the perfect way to commemorate the Anzac Gallipoli landings and would uncover the champion Anzac baker.

She said the site had started its transformation from paddock to festival venue.
